Norm 03 is a modern lamp shade kit in 39 pcs. Norm 03 kindles refresh memories of the sixties, and that story attracted Normann Copenhagen. Norm 03 is a self-assembled product that is easy and straightforward to use. No tools or glue required.Norm 03 is supplied in a flat pack without a socket or electrical parts, so it is compatible with any electrical standards around the world.

Norm 03 can be cleaned with a duster. To obtain a warmer light a filament bulb can be used.

Britt Kornum is an architect from the School of Architecture, Aarhus, Denmark, Furniture and space.”I get my inspiration from organic shapes. A mix of a feminine touch and minimalism complete my designs. It is everyday life as well as life in general that inspires me in my work. In my opinion the best design is created from a spontaneous idea. During the design process I start collecting information about the subject, material and the technical aspects. The different information makes it possible to develop a perfect shape and to create a connection between the intuitive thinking and the technical aspects. This is a working process that gives me much inspiration.”

Norm 06 is a sculptural lamp shade with its own expression. It is easy to assemble without the need for any tools or glue. Norm 06 is a good place to start your lamp-puzzle adventure.

The lamp distributes a soft, surrounding light that works well in most rooms. Hang it over the dining room table, in the entrance hall or use it in the bedroom.

Norm 06 can be cleaned with a duster or by using the shower head in the shower. The lamp shade is made of a special, non flammable plastic material.

Simon Karkov graduated in architecture from The Danish Academy of Architecture. Since the sixties he has been working for several architecture offices in Denmark. The past 10 years he mainly worked for the Municipality of Frederiksberg. During this period he left his mark on several projects, for example Frederiksberg Hospital and Frederiksberg Gymnasium. Today Simon is enjoying his retirement in Turkey working on different projects.”Whenever I get an idea I draw a sketch which is then transformed into a model. The model is then adjusted over a period of time until the final prototype can be done. I dream of developing new ways of designing furniture and larger objects through the self-assembly concept. This concept must be able to work on a larger scale and that thought fascinates me.”

The Norm12, named after the year 2012 when the lamp was designed, is a self assembly lamp with a round and welcoming feel. It spreads a mild and diffused anti-glare light, which is dispersed through the lamp’s rounded silhouette.

The Norm 12 is available in two sizes, which are finished in pure and simple matt white, and fits in well with most homes and tastes in styles. The large version is perfect for hallways or in the bedroom while the small lamp emits a comfortable light for the dining room table.
